Today we wanted to profile one of our three-time alumni, Roey Diefendorf. As a long-time client and good friend of our President and CEO Greer Kendall, Roey from New York City, New York has matched his business skills with his desire to relieve the suffering of the children in Zambia on a daily basis. Turning “books into buses”, Roey is selling a book that he has published entitled “3-Dimensional Wealth” in order to raise funds to purchase buses in Zambia. These buses will not only employ Zambians and provide full-time jobs for them, but the revenue stream from each bus will permanently endow 12 spaces for children to be sponsored in our Father’s Heart Program. On top of every book that is purchased, Roey’s family foundation is matching dollar for dollar and his goal is to be able to purchase 10 buses in Zambia at $20,000 each. To date, Roey has raised and donated funds for 2 buses, and he is currently 50% of the way there on bus #3!
His book 3 Dimensional Wealth is about redefining what true wealth means instead of only looking at your tangible assets. The overall premise is to “replace preconceived notions of wealth with a more encompassing perspective that includes personal (who you are), financial (what you have), and social (how you make a difference) dimensions for a total measurement of your life.”
Family Legacy would like to thank Roey, his wife Chris, and his wonderful daughters for their passionate pursuit of restoring the lives of hurting orphans in Zambia, and for truly living life abundantly in a 3-Dimensional way.
