This year there was Christmas in Zambia, but next year there will really be CHRISTMAS IN ZAMBIA!!! When our supply containers leave for Lusaka at the end of January they will have A LOT of Christmas decorations on them. Lighted Christmas trees, ornaments, and many other decorations are being sent to Zambia so that next Christmas EVERY house at the Tree of Life Children’s Village and EVERY Community Resource Center will be properly decorated. We want the children living in those homes to experience Christmas like never before.
As you take down and store away your Christmas decorations this weekend consider donating some of your excess supplies to the orphans of Zambia. Decorations that never make it out of your attic could bring so much joy to the children living at the TOL and CRCs.
If you are looking for an excuse to go shopping, feel free to take advantage of all the end of the season sales and purchase Christmas decorations for us to send over. We had so much fun buying (and saving money) on all the things you see in the photo above. We are excited to see what the decorations we take for granted will mean to those precious children.

This past summer we opened up the Tree of Life Children’s Village to 64 kids as their permanent home. Each child has three meals a day, a full-day of school, their very own bed, clothes and toys which is something that none of these kids had just one-year ago. We are very hopeful to open 3 to 5 more houses next June but we need your help to be able to do this. You can help us Power Up the Village and open it’s doors to another 60 kids in 2010.

We had an amazing group of New Yorker’s get creative in reaching out to their friends and family in an effort to raise awareness, excitement and sponsorship funds for the children of Zambia through our Father’s Heart Program. Greg & Ashley Buechele, Cori Packard, and Diane Brouillard put together an incredible Father’s Heart Photography Exhibition and Auction Fundraiser as well as a VIP film screening in New York City of a documentary capturing their time at Camp LIFE. With Ashley Buechele’s amazing photography, a silent auction was held where people could bid on each print displayed. Ashely and the group of Camp LIFE Week #5 Ambassadors were so thankful to the Lord for providing twenty-four sponsorships for their children, with an additional six kids being provided for over an entire year simply from ticket sales at the door! 
They are elated and overjoyed, and want to thank everyone who prayed and supported them in this endeavor to raise money for their precious kids.
